Valleyer Schloßbräu

Valley

The Valleyer Schlossbräu near Holzkirchen is to lovers of beer what the motorway church is to Christians. No, not quite, of course, but its proximity to the A8 motorway tempts people off on a trip into the blue to leave the motorway again shortly after Munich and enjoy a few of the beer specialities of this brewery. If you spend a little time in this wonderful spot in Upper Bavaria and marvel at the copper Caspary system and the old historical building after a few Bavarian titbits, you will soon forget that you had really intended to drive on. But does it really matter?

Arco upon Valley

Beer has a long tradition in the Arco family (Arco means bow in English, the reason for the three bows in the family emblem and the Valley municipality) and the tradition is befittingly carried on here in Valley.

Beer has been brewed in Valley since 1630. In 1994 the beer production was moved to the large brewery in Adldorf. The idea was to continue using this historical brewery as a pilot brewery on the one hand and for local & speciality beers on the other. In 2016 the decision was made to collaborate with Caspary in the realisation of this special brewery, the new brewery was then opened on these historical premises in the year 2017.
