A Caspary brewing system in the heart of Manhattan

New York City

For the Paulaner Bräuhaus NYC on the Bowery (Lower East Side, Manhattan), Caspary built a brewpub brewery engineered to American standards: a 10 hl brewhouse designed for both German and American beer styles, combining open and closed fermentation. The commercial brewing equipment was installed in a historic building – the former “Sammy’s Bowery Follies” cabaret of the 1940s.
The brew kettle travelled from Caspary’s manufacturing site in Chieming, Bavaria, across the Atlantic to Manhattan. Since opening in [add year], the system has supplied one of New York’s best-known brewhouses – including serving tanks right at the bar.
