Paulaner am Nockherberg


It was the intention of Paulaner to create a tribute to pleasure with the renovation of its restaurant Paulaner am Nockherberg. The art of brewing and cooking were to be perfected and made a tangible experience for guests. As soon as you put foot in the restaurant, it is clear that everything here revolves around beer. Right in the middle stands the centrepiece, the 20hl copper brewhouse from Caspary. Around this visitors can find out about the art of brewing on their own or watch the master brewer plying his trade even outside of regular working hours.
It goes without saying that such high demands require the highest quality throughout. A clear indication of the great care that Paulaner puts into brewing its own beer can be seen, for example, in the 3-mash process that gives the beer a special full-bodied character. Thanks to the fully-automatic Caspary system, the master brewer need spare no expense in doing exactly as he likes.  
We are glad to have had the opportunity of contributing to this masterpiece of Munich’s zest for life.
